Sacrifice made you alive, forever
Martyr Comrade Maqsood alias Comrade Mehrwan Baloch, son of Ahmed and was a resident of Herronk, area of Kech Balochistan. He started his students politics in platform of BSO and he was known as a dedicated and active comrade. After years in 2012, he joined the Baloch armed struggle in the platform of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF). Later in 2015, he joined Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
According organizational statement; Comrade Maqsood was a valiant and hardworking member of BLA. His commitment to the cause and strong adherence to the philosophy of sacrifice secured him prominent reputation in the organization. He suffered from illnesses during this period but never let this become a hurdle in accomplishment of his national responsibilities. He took part in several successful operations against the enemy forces.
Pakistani military targeted a temporary camp of BLA in a drone attack in Samaan e Kaor area of Turbat, Kech. This was followed by enemy forces being deployed in the area through helicopters. The enemy forces tried to surround the BLA fighters, however, this attempt was foiled with professional tactical measures. The enemy forces were engaged at different places for several places. At least five enemy personnel were killed and seven were injured in these battles.
While breaking the enemy siege and securing a safe passage for their comrades, two fighters of BLA made the ultimate sacrifice. These fallen freedom fighters were Comrade Maqsood alias Comrade Mehrwaan and Muslim Raza alias Guru Jabbar.
