Comrade Qayyum Baloch was a Central Committee member of Baloch Students Organization (BSO Azad) and an outspoken pro-independence activist. He was a strong critic of Pakistan\u2019s policy of altering Balochistan’s demographics, especially through the Gwadar deep-sea port project. Alongside his comrades, he worked tirelessly to expose the port project, drawing international media attention to the situation in Gwadar. On December 11, 2010, Pakistani forces abducted him from his hometown, Gwadar. Tragically, on February 10, 2011, the bodies of Comrade Qayyum and Jameel Yaqoob were found in Herronk, Kech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
