Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, son of Ayoob Baloch, was born on January 1, 1959, in Soro, Mand. He entered student politics in 1974 through the Baloch Students Organization (BSO) and was elected BSO Chairman in 1990. In 1992, he joined the Balochistan National Movement but, after some years, he and his close associates resolved to focus solely on the pursuit of independence, founding the Baloch National Movement (BNM) in 2004. Ghulam Mohammad served as BNM Chairman and emerged as a leading figure in the Baloch liberation movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He endured enforced disappearance twice: first, on December 3, 2006, in Karachi, and later, on April 3, 2009, when Pakistani forces abducted him along with his colleagues Lala Muneer and Sher Mohammad in Turbat. Six days later, on April 9, their bullet-riddled bodies were discovered in Murgaap, Turbat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
