Raza Jahangeer was born on December 1, 1987, in Tertaij village of Awaran in the house of martyr Bakhtiyar Baloch – targeted by Pakistani squad for belonging to a political family. He acquired his primary education from Primary School Tertaij. He did his matric from Modal High School Awaran in 2004. He interested in Balochi literature. Soon after, he became a Balochi poet and writer. As in touch with literature, he staged his second name as “Jahangeer”. To further continue his higher studies, he went to Shaal (Quetta) and took admission at Government Poly Technique College Quetta as electrical sub-engineering. He joined BSO Muttaheda. After joining BSO, Raza focused on national issues and soon became the Information secretary of BSO Awaran Zone. He had later become the president of Awaran zone. During his zonal presidency tenure, he functionalised BSO Azad Awaran Zone, where a number of youth got inspired by him and joined the national struggle on the platform of BSO Azad. Thereafter, he was recognised as a key figure in the Organization. Besides this, he also gave a private exam of B.A during that period. In the same way, due to his commitment and intelligence, Raza Jahangeer was elected as a Central Committee member of BSO Azad in the Council Session of 2008. With the same token, his contributions and tireless efforts led him to become the General Secretary of BSO Azad in the 19th Council Session. Raza Jahangeer was killed along with Imdad Bojair in Daki Bazar, Absar Turbat on August 14, 2013, during a military raid by the Pakistani forces in the house of Imdad Bojair.
