Akbar Ali, son of Noor Mohammad from Shey Kanari, Awaran, began his struggle for Baloch independence through the platform of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) in 2012. He was highly active in his area, mobilizing support in surrounding villages. Despite severe hardships, including state violence, forced displacement, and the tragic loss of his wife due to lack of emergency medical care, Akbar remained committed to his political mission. As the state intensified enforced disappearances and killings of political activists, Akbar joined the national liberation movement through the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) in 2015. As a dedicated Samachar, he fulfilled his duties with unwavering resolve, remaining committed to the Baloch cause until his last breath. His legacy stands as a symbol of honor, pride, and dignity for all. Akbar embraced martyrdom alongside five comrades in a battle with Pakistani forces in Injeer-Koh, Paroom.
