Majeed Brigade’s fidayee Sumaiya Baloch, daughter of Ubaid Qalandrani resident of Tootak , carried out self-sacrificing attack. Sumaiya joined BLA seven years ago and voluntarily rendered her services for Majeed Brigade four years ago. She went through rigorous trained for four years, during which she was provided opportunities multiple times to revisit her decision to rule out any pressure and emotional factors behind her decision. However, she stood firm on her decision and on June 24, 2023, became immortal in history with her successful attack.
25-year-old Sumaiya Qalandarani was a journalist and worked for BLA’s media wing for five years according to organization, She played a key part in strengthening and increasing the effectiveness of BLA’s media wing. She was an highly educated intelligent individual. Sumaiya was fiancé of Fidayee Rehan Baloch and daughter-in-law of BLA’s founding leader General Aslam Baloch. Sumaiya was as a resident of Tootak in Khuzdar, from where her grandfather, uncles and several cousins were forcibly disappeared on 18th February 2011.
